In addition, Rice Business Law is able to offer legal services to ensure that all debts and disputes are brought to resolution as quickly and inexpensively as possible.  Rice Business Law attorneys pride themselves on being available to give clients personal, one-on-one attention to address any problems, questions or concerns that the client may have at any step of the representation. Together with an experienced staff and a progressive outlook on technology, Rice Business Law attorneys provide clients quality, responsive, and comprehensive legal services statewide.
We continue to provide “big firm experience and small town service” to our clients statewide in the following specific Creditors’ Rights areas of practice:

Foreclosures

Rice Business Law provides legal services for the foreclosure of residential and commercial mortgages, land contracts and other real estate liens including construction liens. The firm provides these services throughout the State of Wisconsin to both local and national lenders and creditors. In addition to representation in foreclosure cases, the firm’s attorneys counsel lenders on loss mitigation arrangements, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, forbearance agreements and voluntary surrender transactions.

Bankruptcy

The firm represents financial institutions and creditors in bankruptcy and Chapter 128 receivership matters throughout the State of Wisconsin. The creditors’ interests are a mainstay of our practice.  Our statewide representation in state and federal courts allows us to act in a prompt, cost efficient manner on our client's behalf, whether the need is seeking relief from an automatic stay, objections to Chapter 11, 12, and 13 plans, obtaining adequate protection, or defending preference actions.  Additionally, our collection practice allows for seamless representation of a creditor's interests both prior to and after the bankruptcy commencement.

Collections

Rice Business Law represents lenders and other creditors in loan, workout, collections and judgment enforcement matters throughout Wisconsin. Our practice extends to commercial and consumer replevin of motor vehicles, inventory, and other personal property. The collection of unsecured loans and deficiency balances are also handled statewide.  Rice Business Law will conduct your collection and replevin matters cost effectively with diligence and expertise.  Contingent fee and blended fee arrangements are available.
